Through my role as a member of Ways and Means, I was chosen to be one of only three committee members to serve as a liaison to the House Budget Committee, where I will take part in the drafting of the annual House budget. The Committee on Ways and Means is the oldest committee of the United States Congress, and is the chief tax-writing committee in the House of Representatives.
