Rep. Black Welcomes Students from Station Camp Middle School to the U.S. Capitol

Washington, DC – Tuesday, U.S. Congressman Diane Black (R-TN) greeted students from Station Camp Middle School in Hendersonville, Tennessee on a trip to Washington D.C. Congressman Black met students and teachers from the school outside the U.S. Capitol steps for pictures and to discuss the legislative process and the makeup of Tennessee’s 6th district.

Congressman Black released the following statement regarding her visit with the students:

“It is always a special privilege for me to welcome students from Tennessee’s 6th district schools to Washington. I appreciate Principal Mike Brown and the Station Camp Middle School teachers and parents for giving these students this unique opportunity. While news outlets reported this week that the President has regrettably decided to cancel White House tours, the United States Capitol and my office remain open to all who wish to visit it.” said Congressman Black.
