Washington, DC – Thursday, U.S. Congressman Diane Black (R-TN) greeted students from Stone Elementary School in Crossville, Tennessee on a trip to Washington, D.C. Congressman Black met students and teachers from the school outside the U.S. Capitol steps to answer students’ questions, take pictures, and discuss the makeup of Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District.

Congressman Black released the following statement regarding her visit with the students:

“It is always a special privilege for me to welcome students from Tennessee’s 6th District schools to Washington. I appreciate Interim Principal Joy Goad and the Stone Elementary teachers and parents for giving these students this unique opportunity. While the President has regrettably decided to cancel White House tours, the United States Capitol and my office remain open to all who wish to visit it,” said Congressman Black.
