Black Launches Advisory Committees for ‘Constant Dialogue with Constituents on Issues’
Washington, D.C. (Friday, June 17, 2011)—Today, U.S. Representative Diane Black (R-TN) unveiled 14 new advisory committees, which will allow constituents in the 6th District to submit feedback and ideas on a variety of policy issues that range from agriculture to health care to veterans and military issues.
“The people of the 6th District are hands-down my greatest resource and that is why these advisory committees are so important to me,” said Black. “As various issues come up this Congress, I will reach out to my advisory committee members to solicit their ideas and solutions. My best ideas come from the people of Tennessee and I want to have a constant dialogue with my constituents on the issues that directly affect them.”
