"A Penny on the Dollar"

Washington, D.C. –  Over the weekend, Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06) joined Elizabeth Prann on “America’s News HQ” in Nashville, TN to discuss Budget priorities, challenges and mandatory spending.

Some highlights below:

“One penny is all I’m asking for on each dollar – and that can be done because it will save this country for our children and grandchildren.”

“Tax reform is very important in our country; to get the country moving again, to get our economy moving.”

“It also is our Constitutional requirement to pass a budget. So it’s listening to each member and trying to decide where it is that we can find that sweet spot, and I believe that we are getting there.”
