Rep. Black Joins Members of Congress Nominating President Trump for Nobel Peace Prize
Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06) joined 17 of her colleagues in sending a letter to the Members of the Nobel Prize Committee to nominate President Donald Trump for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize.
“The President’s tireless work to bring North Korea to the table and end its nuclear weapons programs has resulted in peace negotiations in the Korean Peninsula for the first time in decades – a truly remarkable accomplishment. There is no one more deserving of this recognition than President Trump.” said Congressman Black.
