Rep. Black Responds to President Obama’s Latest Remarks on Fight Against ISIS
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06), issued the following statement in response to President Obama’s remarks at the Pentagon on the fight against ISIS:
“President Obama must understand that, when it comes to defeating ISIS, a speech does not equal a strategy. While the President offered an optimistic picture of his Administration’s efforts today, his own Defense Secretary testified to Congress just last week that ISIS is not contained. The American people are rightly skeptical given this President’s continued underestimation of this terrorist threat, and right now they want to see less talk and more action,” said Congressman Diane Black.
